Pat is the Chief Executive for AECOM’s operations in the UK and Ireland, and has leadership responsibility for the UK and Ireland business. This business comprises approximately 8,000 staff with the majority of current revenues generated by the Buildings, Transportation, Water and Environmental businesses. Growth opportunities exist in these core markets as well as for expansion in the Construction Services, Management Services, Industrial, Oil & Gas and Power businesses. AECOM’s UK & Ireland business is currently active in the delivery of the major UK infrastructure programs: Crossrail, HS2, Hinckley, Heathrow, Gatwick, Thames Tideway and Northern Powerhouse as well as ongoing programs for Highways England, Network Rail, Transport for London, and many regional authorities. In addition the UK&I business provides master planning, engineering and project and program management services to projects being delivered in other AECOM geographies primarily Continental Europe, Middle East Africa and India.
Pat joined AECOM in December 2013 from Fluor having led their global Infrastructure (highway, rail transit, aviation, heavy civil and telecommunications) business. He also led Fluor’s entry into the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) market in the UK, Europe, the USA and Canada investing in excess of $250M of equity in long term DBFO concessions.
